Nowonna Wyatt

Staff report

Nowonna Cloud Wyatt, 82, of Benton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:20 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Nowonna was a homemaker and a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Her favorite response was, "God is in control," and she lived her life accordingly.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Herndon of Paducah; her son, Dale E. Wyatt of Benton; three grandchildren, Ashley Herndon and Cassidy Herndon, both of Paducah and Stephen Nicholas Wyatt of Louisville; and three nieces, Jeanie Beth Culp of Paducah, Saundra Schaefer and Paula Harshaw, both of Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Wyatt; one son, Stephen Wyatt; one brother, P.B. Cloud; and one nephew, Greg Cloud. Her parents were P. B. Cloud and Ruth Callahan Cloud.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Kee will officiate and burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
