John Jeffery Suver

Staff Report

BENTON - John Jeffery Suver, 71, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on April 6, 2014, at his home.

John was a self-employed farmer and manager of Lake Region Propane. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his son, Scott Suver and his wife Mindy of Mt. Vernon, MO; two grandsons, Jacob Suver and Matthew Suver; two sisters, Margaret Palmer of New Madrid, MO, and Martha Johnson of Pensacola, FL; one brother, Paul Suver of Sikeston, MO; and his caregiver, Loretta Vargocko of Benton, KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Suver and one sister, Judith Ann Suver. His parents were Virgil Suver and Alma Enderle Suver.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Father Babu Kulathumkal will officiate and burial will follow in St. Henry's Catholic Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
