BARDWELL - Gerald L. Wilson, 73, of Bardwell, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Countryside Healthcare in Bardwell.

Mr. Wilson was a farmer and a member of Mississippi Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Holder) Wilson of Bardwell; daughter, Amy Tellier and husband Derek of Maryville, Tenn.; son, Daniel T. Wilson of Louisville; brother, Larry Wilson and wife Pat of Sarasota, Fla.; and granddaughter, Sarah Tellier of Maryville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyad T. and Aloha (Caldwell) Wilson.

Funeral services for Gerald L. Wilson will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Mississippi Baptist Church in Bardwell with Revs. Mark Burnett and Rick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the church. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of the arrangements.
