VIENNA, Ill. - Glenn F. Trovillion, 86, of Vienna died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at his home.
He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a salesman for Frito-Lay in Michigan for many years. He operated the Trovillion Tavern in Vienna until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of New Columbia Masonic Lodge # 336 AF&AM, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (Ainad Temple). He had served as president of the former Shawnee Shrine Club and was a member of the Vienna City Zoning Board.
He is survived by his children, Terry Trovillion, Jill Betts and Diane Newton, all of Vienna, Lorie Hawkins of St. Augustine, Fla., Jan Meyer of Johnston City, and Holly Mount of Lakeland, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Kleckler of Vienna.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally (Churchill) Trovillion; one grandson; one sister; and seven brothers. His parents were Ezra and Edna (Baker) Trovillion.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at the funeral home, with Masonic rites at 8 p.m.
