BENTON - Nella Jean Williams, 89, of Benton, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City.

Mrs. Williams was a lifelong resident of Calvert City. She was a retired pharmacy clerk, a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star #73 and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by three daughters, Kay Nash and Carla (Clint) Parish, both of Calvert City and Pamela Montgomery of Peoria, Ariz.; five grandsons, Dr. Kyle Parish of Paducah, Ky., Jordan Nash of New Orleans, La., Ian Nash of Draffenville, Ky., Scott Montgomery and Matthew Montgomery, both of Pennsylvania; four great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Williams; parents, Edward and Bertha Stice Morefield; son-in-law, Richard Nash; two brothers, Carlton Morefield and Woodrow Morefield; and three sisters, Mavis Devine, Magdalene Dees and Alice Zachary.

Visitation will be held at Calvert City United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014. Funeral service will be held at Calvert City United Methodist Church on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Bromley officiating. Burial will follow in Dees Cemetery.
