Chuck Helton

Staff report

Chuck Helton, age 48, of Paducah passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at the home of his in-laws, David and Marolyn Molesworth of Lone Oak.

Mr. Helton was a native of Detroit, Mich., and worked for Jackson Purchase Energy. He was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Sara Oliver Helton; his father, Bobby Joe Helton of Paducah; three brothers, Michael Helton of Detroit, Mich., Bobby Helton of Jackson Mich., and Billy Joe Helton of Westland, Mich.; one sister, Lisa Crowley of Michigan; one nephew, Michael Donald Helton, that he helped raise; four other nephews and six nieces; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanie Marie Barnoske Helton.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Lone Oak Church of Christ with Paul Wingfield officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 12 noon until service time Friday at the church.
