James Parsley

Staff report

EDDYVILLE -- James T. Parsley, 83, of Eddyville died at 6:52 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mr. Parsley was a member of Eddyville First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired insulator with Atochem Chemical Plant.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Louise Dorroh Parsley of Eddyville; one daughter, Kathy Croft of Paducah; one son, Jeff Parsley of Paducah; two sisters, Louise Cobb of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Wanda Wages of Jacksonville, Florida; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Suzette Parsley, and three brothers. His parents were Raleigh Andrew Parsley and Verna Lee Oliver Parsley.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Eddyville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim Perdue and Steve McVay officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County. Friends may call from noon until 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
