MAYFIELD - Robert Gene Wilson, 61, of Sedalia died at 12:50 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, in Piedmont, S.C.

He was a truck driver for Dart Industries and was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Adkins Wilson; one daughter, Misty LeeAnn Hurt of Savannah, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Tina Renee Witherspoon of Mayfield; two stepsons, Tommy Holmes and Tony Holmes, both of Mayfield; two sisters, Barbara Haynes of Symsonia and Betty Englert of Paducah; two brothers, James Thomas Wilson of Paducah and Joseph Michael Wilson of Mayfield; two grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Angela Ann Gentry. His parents were Thomas Lawrence and Mary Hazel (Toon) Wilson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Ronnie Stinson Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the funeral home.
