Anna Buckner

Staff Report

Anna Buckner, 88, of Paducah, KY., formerly of Providence, KY., passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Buckner was a member of Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church and also attended Trinity Methodist Church. She was retired from Owens Cleaners, a homemaker, enjoyed quilting and was a volunteer with the Lourdes hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Buckner is survived by two sons, Michael Buckner of Paducah, KY., and Dennis Buckner of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; one granddaughter, Paige Buckner of Murray, KY.; one sister, Hilda Duncan of Providence, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel Ray Buckner. Her parents were Ray and Addie Lou Monroe Sigler.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at White Oak Cemetery in Providence, KY., with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating.

The Buckner family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
