Linda K. Oglesbee

Staff report

METROPOLIS, Ill. - Linda K. Oglesbee, 66, of Metropolis passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of over 25 years, Patrick Oglesbee; son, Sean, and wife, Daisy Sjurset; son, Mike, and wife, Amy Mcdonald; daughter, Meghan Ventura, and husband, Dave; son, Brian Oglesbee; sister, Bev Aregger; brother, Larry, and wife, Linda Sjurset; brother, Dale Sjurset; sister, Dianne McMullen; sister, Susan Hines; sister, Sharen Evans, and husband, Norman; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ione (Angelly) Sjurset; and four brothers, Bill, Dave, Scott and Jr. Sjurset.

There will be a private family service at a later date.

Miller Funeral Home of Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
