Pearl Marie Wurth Toon

Staff Report

Pearl Marie Wurth Toon, 99, of Paducah died Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 1:15 a.m. at Superior Care Home.

Pearl was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella and volunteer at the St. John Annual Picnic. Pearl was a former employee of the Kelly Beehive Company in Lone Oak and retired bookkeeper at Rhodes-Buford Furniture Company. She was an active member of the St. John Homemakers Club and served on the McCracken County Soil Conservation Committee.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Buckman officiating. Burial will follow at the St. John Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Helen Warren of Paducah, KY.; several nieces and nephews; care givers, Pat Wurth Roof and William Wurth of Paducah, KY.

Preceding in death were her husband, Leon Toon; parents, Charles Stephen Wurth & Dorothy Mae Poat Wurth; one sister, Imelda Sarah Wurth; two brothers, James R. Wurth and Charles Edward Wurth.

Arrangements conducted by Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
