Gary R. Williams

Mr. Gary R. Williams, 54, of Metropolis, Ill., passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Gary was a member of Highway 45 Church of Christ and worked at Williams Lawn and Garden from 1981 until his passing.

Gary is survived by his parents, Eddie and Virginia (Duckworth) Williams of Metropolis; sister, Karen Eleam of Metropolis; one nephew, William Robert Eleam of Metropolis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Williams.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
