Staff Report

Eric J. Young, 37, of Paducah died at 1:42 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2014, in Calvert City.

Mr. Young was employed in Maintenance at Quality Carriers in Calvert City and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi (Darnell) Young of Paducah; father, Marty Young and stepmother Theresa Young of Ledbetter, mother, Betsie Young of Paducah; three sons, Dekota Bowling, Cole Young, Kalob Young, all of Paducah; mother in-law, Tammy Darnell of Paducah; father in-law, Donald Willings of Paducah; brother, Jessie Young of Paducah; stepbrother, Brandon Snow of Boaz; sister, Ashleigh Farmer of Paducah; stepsister, April Snow of Paducah; grandmother, Nell Mathis of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Debbie Young.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery of Paducah.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2014, at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations made to a Trust Account for Eric's Family with Regions Bank to be set up at a later date.
