Bobby Travis

Staff report

MAYFIELD - Bobby Gene Travis, 64, of Mayfield died at 9:03 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Union City, Tenn.

Mr. Travis was a truck driver and a member of Sharon Baptist Church.

Surviving are his mother, Ovelia Warren Travis of Mayfield; his son, Gene Travis of Mayfield; his daughter, Karen Travis of Graves County; three sisters, Brenda Kincaid of Troy, Mich., Peggy Reed of Cuba and Vickie Bynum of Mayfield; his brother, Gary Lynn Travis of Murray; two grandchildren; eight nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, James B. Travis.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at Lynnville Pentecostal Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Morris officiating.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
