METROPOLIS, Ill. - Brenda Garduno, 59, of Metropolis passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Metropolis Nursing and Health Care Center in Metropolis.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February, 7, 2014, in Mt. Sterling Cemetery. Bro. Bryan Braden will officiate.

Brenda is survived by four children, Brenda Stroh of Hopkinsville, Ky., Christina Garduno of Paducah, Ky., Robert Garduno Jr. of Metropolis and Teddy Garduno of Paducah, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Clifford Harvill, Steve Harvill, Willard Harvill and Danny Harvill; one sister, Cathy Harvill; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William James and Myrtle (Wilkins) Harvill; one sister, Bonnie Allen; and one brother, Roger Harvill.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.

Memorials may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
