Elnita Parsons

Staff report

Elnita Crice Parsons, 72, of Paducah, formerly of Bandana, died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Thomas Parsons of Kevil; two sons, Robert Thomas Parsons of Franklin, Tenn., and Michael Edward Parsons of Kevil; one daughter, Pamela Jaye Briggs of Grand Prairie, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her parents were Robert Elwood and Juqnita Brockman Crice.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Barlow Cemetery in Barlow with the Rev. Doug Hughes officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to American Cancer Society, Lung Cancer Research, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003-4582.
