MURRAY - Betty Williams, 76, of Murray died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital

She was a homemaker, babysitter and member of Coles Campground United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina Ammons of Murray; one son, Steve Williams of Almo; one sister, Wilma Wiser of Murray; two brothers, Charles D. Johnson and Hugh "Shorty" Johnson, both of Murray; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie E. Williams; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Tannie D. and Obera Jones Johnson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Larry England officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may go to a favorite charity.
