Carol Horne

Staff report

MAYFIELD - Nancy Carol Horne, 74, of Mayfield died Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and retired from the Graves County Sheriff's Department.

Ms. Horne is survived by one son, Bryan Horne of Mayfield; one daughter, Vickie Arnett of Mayfield; three brothers, Darrel Duncan, Noble Duncan and Tommy Walker, all of Grand Rivers; one sister, Janice Dukes of Grand Rivers; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Elmo Wilson and Nancy Gray Duncan.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. James Oates and the Rev. Rex Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday January 9, 2014, at the funeral home.
