Hilda Keller

Hilda Keller, 87, of Paducah, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at Calvert City Convalescent Center at 6:04 a.m.

Hilda was born in Detroit, Mich., November 8, 1926 to the late Cecil Jeter and Mildred Sharpe Jeter. She and her late husband Carl were married for over fifty one years. She will be remembered as fun loving and someone who enjoyed life. She loved her family deeply and treasured time spent around the backyard swimming pool.

She is survived by her daughter, Gerry Cherry, of Paducah; her son, Johnny Keller and his wife Beth of Paducah; her sister, Dorothy Harrington and her husband Jack of Paducah; six grandchildren, Rachel Keller and Rachel Vandermeulen of Paducah, Cody Keller, of Louisville, Ashley Anderson, Katie Cherry and Aaron Cherry, all of Paducah; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas Hines and Avery Vandermeulen of Paducah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Keller; and her parents, Cecil and Mildred Sharpe Jeter.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, Terrell Lee will officiate. Burial will follow at Sharpe Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014, from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
