Virginia Ripley

Staff Report

Virginia Ripley, 97, of Paducah passed away peacefully at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Ripley was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Sharon Wilson of Casa Grande, Ariz.; one sister, Marguerite Bean of Paducah; four grandchildren, Laurel and Spencer Ripley of Roswell, Ga., Nelisha Firestone of Littleton, Colo., and Spencer Wilson of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Addison and Eden Firestone, and Shea and Shawn Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Ripley; and one son, William S. Ripley. Her parents were Oree and Ethna Beavers.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.

Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
