A tractor-trailer flipped onto its side Tuesday morning on U.S. 45, also called North Fourth Street, spilling lumber and reducing traffic while the area was cleaned up.

Paducah Police said Zecorius D. Brown, 25, of Paducah, was driving the 2015 Freightliner owned by Ryder Truck Rental of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Brown was not injured.

Police said Brown reported he was driving east and came to a sharp curve near Harrison Street downtown when the lumber load shifted, causing the truck and trailer to flop onto its side.

One eastbound lane was closed until almost noon.
