Kristen Chambers has joined Easter Seals West Kentucky as food program manager. In this role, she will develop, plan, and prepare healthy meals for children and adults following the Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines. Chambers graduated as a distinguished student, with honors, from culinary school at West Kentucky Community and Technical College in 2006. In the nine years Chambers served at WKCTC as coordinator of food preparation, she oversaw production of the cafes, as well as catering for both on- and off-campus events and outside business trainings. She also helped with the start-up of four cafes on campus. Most recently she spend the majority of her time downtown at Kitchen's Cafe, which is part of WKCTC's Paducah School of Art and Design. She also served as the in-house baker/pastry artist for Kitchen's Cafe.

Dr. David French has joined Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine in Eddyville. He has been practicing family medicine for nearly 30 years. He earned a medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed a family practice residency program through the Trover Clinic Foundation in Madisonville. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified in family medicine. French is joined by licensed nurse practitioner Denise Adams, APRN, who has more than 32 years of nursing experience and is a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives and the American College of Nurse Practitioners.

The Respiratory Disease Clinic has joined Baptist Health Medical Group. The clinic consists of physicians Jeffrey Clarke, MD, and Keith Kelly, MD, as well as nurse practitioners Michele Carbonell-Smith, APRN; Andria Hefner, APRN; and Kelly Houser, APRN. Clarke has practiced medicine for nearly 40 years. He earned a medical degree from the University of Louisville, completed an internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and returned to the University of Louisville to complete a pulmonary medicine fellowship. He holds board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, sleep medicine and hospice and palliative medicine. Kelly has practiced medicine for more than 25 years. He earned a medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship. Kelly is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and is board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
