Will Lovins, a Murray High School junior, will make a debut appearance in "Oxford Ballers," his own video featured on "America's Funniest Videos" tonight at 7 on ABC.

Lovins submitted the video in the spring of 2017. In the 2013 video, Lovins is an eighth-grader at Murray Middle School. Lovins, a member of Murray High's basketball and football teams, said he and friends were filming what they thought was their first video in their YouTube basketball trick shots series.

Lovins and his friends named themselves the "Oxford Ballers," because some of the members in the group lived on a street named Oxford.

"My friend Noah was filming what he thought was to be a half-court shot made by me. However, during the throw Noah was watching the basketball's flight through my phone camera lens, when it suddenly hit the phone, then the phone and basketball hit Noah in the face. It broke his braces and gave him a bloody nose and my phone and case broke."

Will received a T-shirt for his submission.

Lovins is the son of Kim and Mike Lovins of Murray.
