Staff report

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, four individuals have been arrested and detained in the Graves County Jail on drug trafficking charges this week.

Robert Inman, 40, of Wingo and Raymond Thomas, 30, of Water Valley were arrested Tuesday afternoon following an undercover drug sting by the Graves County Drug Unit. Thomas and Inman were traveling on North St. Paul Street in Wingo when deputies stopped their vehicle and found a plastic bag of marijuana. Inman is facing charges of second degree forgery and marijuana trafficking eight ounces to five pounds. Thomas is facing charges of marijuana trafficking eight ounces to five pounds, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Inman is also wanted for forgery charges outside of Graves County.

As a result of the Wingo/Water Valley investigation the Graves County Drug Unit assisted the Hickman County Sheriff to eradicate a small crop of 25 marijuana plants in the Spring Hill Community.

Warrant in hand, deputies conducted a search Thursday at the home of Brandon Anderson, 26, and Sara Case, 20, of Symsonia. During the search deputies found medical grade marijuana along with digital scales and cash from the sale of illegal drugs. They face charges of marijuana trafficking of under eight ounces, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. Mayfield Police Department detectives and Kentucky State police assisted in the search.
