Downtown to offer kids street fair

Market House Square in downtown Paducah will host more than a dozen arts and culture organizations for the second annual Kids Creative Arts Street Fair on the Square from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. 

The fair will offer a variety of hands-on and interactive experiences for kids of all ages, including crafts, art, drama, music, games, stories and dance lessons. Parents may participate.

The Market House Theatre will host interactive drama and improv sessions, the Carson Center will have live interactive music on the lawn, Harmony Road Music will have a make-your-own musical instrument booth, and Maiden Alley Cinema will offer lessons in making film story boards.

For hungry fair-goers, Kirchhoff's will have hot dogs for sale, etc 2 Coffee House will offer special coffee and tea drinks for sale, and the Paducah Bank WOW Ice Cream truck will offer free, cold refreshments.
