Staff report

Paducah police are searching for information regarding a man who reportedly robbed a Chiz Cab driver at knife point Wednesday night.

The driver told police she picked up a man at McNabb Elementary School, bound for the Ritz Apartments at 2227 Madison St. She said that en route he had her pull into an alley where he pulled a knife and took her cab fares, cell phone and keys. The man then fled on foot toward North 23rd Street. Police have no identifying information about the suspect, except that he is a black male who fled the driver's cab around 10:19 p.m.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Those with information may also access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at paducahky.gov/paducah/west-ky-crime-stoppers. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
