LEDBETTER - Markets totaled 538 head. Compared to last week: steers below 600 lbs. were steady to $5 lower; above 600 lbs., $4 to $6 higher; heifers sold $5 to $8 higher; slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold $2 to $4 lower.

Slaughter cows: breaker, 75 to 80 percent lean, 1225 to 1700 lbs., $102 to $112; boner, 80 to 85 percent lean, 1100 to 1470 lbs., $102 to $115; lean, 85 to 90 percent lean, 1000 to 1350 lbs., $95 to $108; low dressing, $86 to $92.

Slaughter bulls yield grade 1-2: 1210 to 2035 lbs., $122 to $132; high dressing, $150; low dressing, $117 to $121.

Feeder steers medium and large 1-2: 200 to 300 lbs., $345 to $355; 300 to 400 lbs., $280 to $315; 400 to 500 lbs., $254 to $270; 500 to 600 lbs., $240 to $251; 600 to 700 lbs., $225 to $235; 700 to 800 lbs., $210 to $220; 800 to 900 lbs., $196; 900 to 1000 lbs., $185.

Feeder bulls medium and large 1-2: 300 to 400 lbs., $260 to $307.50; 400 to 500 lbs., $245 to $270; 500 to 600 lbs., $226 to $242; 600 to 700 lbs., $202 to $219; 700 to 800 lbs., $186 to $193; 800 to 900 lbs., $162.50 to $164; 900 to 1000 lbs., $126.

Feeder heifers medium and large 1-2: 200 to 300 lbs., $272.50 to $302.50; 300 to 400 lbs., $256 to $289; 400 to 500 lbs., $236 to $261; 500 to 600 lbs., $219 to $233; 600 to 700 lbs., $200 to $216; 700 to 800 lbs., $185 to $200; 900 to 1000 lbs., $137; 1000 to 1100 lbs., $129.
