Mercy Kid Triathlon Saturday at Noble Park

The Mercy Pediatrics Kid Triathlon will be held Saturday at Noble Park. The triathlon is designed for children ages 7 through 14 and is limited to 120 participants. 

Children ages 7-10 will swim 100 yards, bike 5 kilometers and run 1 kilometer.

Children ages 11-14 will swim 200 yards, bike 10 kilometers and run 2 kilometers.

Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Shelter 19, next to the basketball courts. The fee is $40 per athlete on race day. The triathlon begins at 9 a.m. Every finisher receives a medal and shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in four age groups (7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14). Registration is available on race day or through www.active.com.

For the safety of the athletes during the triathlon, access to Noble Park will be limited to the baseball field parking lot off Park Avenue. All gates will reopen to the public once the triathlon has concluded.

The triathlon is sponsored by Mercy Pediatrics, Rehab Associates Foundation, BikeWorld and the Park Services Department.
