Search continues for local optometrist

Staff report

GRAND RIVERS - Missing optometrist John P. Lyles, 60, of Grand Rivers had still not been found as of 6 p.m. Sunday. Lyles was last seen Wednesday walking away from his Marina Village home.

Kenny Vincent, deputy emergency management director for Livingston County, said he was out looking on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake on Sunday but had no new updates in the search. Many local residents and visitors for the holiday weekend were out searching on their own, although the search has been scaled back to emergency personnel. "It has been great having that many eyes but still nothing has turned up," Vincent said.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Livingston County dispatch at 270-928-2196.
