Ruben-Taschenberger

Staff report

Rachel Aliza Ruben and Peter Anson Taschenberger will be united in marriage Saturday, July 5, in Washington, D.C.

Miss Ruben is the daughter of Regina and Jeffrey Ruben of Wilmington, Del.

Mr. Taschenberger is the son of Elaine and Richard "Dick" Kaye of Paducah.

Miss Ruben is the granddaughter of Esther Ruben of Ohio. She is a 2000 graduate of Concord High School in Wilmington; a 2004 graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in anthropology; a 2006 graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a master's degree in communication, culture and technology; and a 2012 graduate of Pennsylvania State University in State College with a doctorate in mass communications.

Mr. Taschenberger is the grandson of Sandra and Robert Rohr of Topeka, Kan., and Kay H. Kaye of Paducah. He is a 2002 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield; a 2006 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., with a bachelor's degree in English; a 2010 graduate of St. Louis University School of Public Health in St. Louis, Mo., with a master's degree in public health; and a 2010 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law with a juris doctorate degree. He is a regulatory counsel for drug evaluation at the Food and Drug Administration.
