Touring another town's riverfront

Steve Wilson | The Sun

A group of 49 Paducah civic and business leaders visited several Kentucky cities on a fact-finding bus trip Thursday and Friday. One was Owensboro, where the group stopped for a briefing and a look at the city's riverfront development, which has attracted national attention. Pausing for a photo are (from left) City Manager Jeff Pederson, Mayor Gayle Kaler, McCracken County Judge-Executive Van Newberry, City Commissioner and Chamber President Sandra Wilson, U.S. Bank Division Manager Bill Jones and Paducah Economic Development President Chad Chancellor. See Steve Wilson's column on 4A.
