Young leader deadline extended

The nomination deadline for the 2014 Young Leader of the Year award, sponsored by the Four Rivers Business Journal in partnership with the Leadership Paducah Foundation, has been extended to June 13.

Due to technical difficulties with the online form on The Paducah Sun website, nominations submitted prior to May 29 were not received. Any nominations made prior to that date should be re-submitted to ensure consideration. We apologize for the  inconvenience.

Nominees must be under 40 years of age, as of April 25, have been in their current position for at least two years, and be a successful, proven contributor to their profession and/or community. Both public and private sector nominees are acceptable.  Finalists will be featured in the August edition of the Four Rivers Business Journal, which publishes July 24.

The 2014 Young Leader of the Year will be announced Aug. 28. Young Leader Nomination forms can be found on The Sun's website, www.paducahsun.com. Anyone with questions about the nomination process may contact Kendra Mitchell at 270-575-8625.
