Leadercast to broadcast locally

Staff report

Community business leaders can access the knowledge and experience of world-renowned leaders at Leadercast hosted by the Leadership Paducah Foundation.

The Leadercast event will be broadcast live from Atlanta to hundreds of sites around the world including Paducah. The local event will be shown at Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the session runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

This year's theme of Beyond You challenges leaders to focus outward rather than inward. Last year, more than 100,000 leaders from 14 countries attended Leadercast. This year's conference is set to reach its largest audience to date.

The lineup for Leadercast speakers will include: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel laureate and human rights activist; Laura Bush, former U.S. first lady; Andy Stanley, leadership author and communicator;  Malcolm Gladwell, journalist and author; Randall Wallace, screenwriter, director, producer and songwriter; Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP; Laura Schroff, former advertising sales executive and author; Dr. Henry Cloud, clinical psychologist and leadership consultant, and Simon Sinek, author.

The registration fee is $69 a person and lunch is included in the price. Continuing education units will be available for attendees. For more information about Leadercast, visit www.leadercast.com. For local ticket information, call 270-554-1441 or email lwillingham@loneoakfbc.org.
