Individuals can learn about solar power and HVAC efficiency from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the green energy auditing simulator in the Skilled Craft Training Center in Hickory. A vehicle pollution check, including tires and tailpipe emissions, will be available from noon to 2 p.m. at the same place.

The WKCTC Concept Zero student group will co-sponsor a concert from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at Carson Park. The event will begin with free horseback rides for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The concert will be held from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and feature live music and poetry readings, artwork from the school's art club available for purchase and Paducah Improv skits.

Musical guests will include The Legendary Jack Martin and Good Company, Solid Rocket Boosters, Gideon's Rifle, The Melungions, Black and to the Left, Murder Sammich, Mark Donham, Wes Blackwood and Ryan Steele.
