2 charged after gun incident

Staff report

Two Graves County men face charges following an incident with one man holding a woman at gunpoint Monday, according to the Graves County Sheriff's Department.

Police said in a news release that officers were called about noon to a portable building behind a residence at 585 W. Tucker Road after a woman called her mother to report Jordan Crittendon, 20, of Mayfield was pushing, punching and dragging her. He also wouldn't allow her to leave the building, she said. Crittendon allegedly told Jordan Starks, 20 of Mayfield to go get a gun and threatened to shoot the woman.

Officers from the Graves County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene and arrested Crittendon. Starks was also located inside the building along with marijuana, rolling papers, plastic bags, scales, money and guns. Officers also found evidence that marijuana had been flushed down the toilet, according to the news release from the sheriff's department.

Crittendon faces charges of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree assault, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. Starks faces charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. Both were jailed.
