A Murray man faces drug-related charges following a shots-fired call on Friday, according to a media release from the Calloway County Sheriff's Department.
Police said officers from the sheriff's department and Kentucky State Police responded to the call about 7:30 p.m. on Rayburn Road in the Lynn Grove community of Calloway County. Officers could see several firearms and drug paraphernalia inside a Coachman brand camper parked behind the residence. Police then executed a search warrant about 11 p.m. and found evidence related to manufacturing methamphetamine and the remains of several methamphetamine labs.
Christopher Lennox, 42, of Murray, was found at the scene and placed under arrest. He faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of firearms by convicted felon, second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release from the sheriff's department.
He was also served with two outstanding warrants from Graves and McCracken counties. Lennox was taken to the Calloway County Jail, police said.
