Air Force Airman Zachary T. Pearson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Pearson is the son of Anna and Terry Pearson of Fulton. He is a 2009 graduate of Fulton High School.

Army National Guard Pfc. Jeremy A. DeLapp has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

DeLapp is the son of Lorie and Steven DeLapp of Hickory. He is a 2013 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Richard B. Vaughn graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Army Pfc. Dillon R. Hall has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons, rifle marksmanship qualification, bayonet combat, chemical warfare, field training and tactical exercises, marches, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, Army history, traditions and core values.

Hall is the son of James Hall of Marion, Ill., and stepson of Tommy Murrie of Vienna, Ill. He is a 2011 graduate of Vienna High School.
