A Caldwell County woman faces an endangerment charge following a weekend incident, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Police received a call to conduct a welfare check about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at a residence on White School Road.

Rachelle Robinson, 30, and her 3-year-old child were home. Robinson appeared to be intoxicated and faces a charge of first-degree wanton endangerment. She was taken to the Caldwell County Jail, police said. The child's father took custody of the child.
