Fire damages Paducah home

KATHLEEN FOX | The Sun

Smoke pours out of a Paducah home located at 2339 S. 28th St. on the corner of 24th Street Saturday night. The Paducah Fire Department responded to the call about 6:30 p.m. and remained on scene for several hours, according to assistant fire chief Kevin McKellips. He said the home was fully involved when crews arrived on scene and sustained heavy structural damage. The residents were not home and no one was injured in the fire. The fire marshal is currently investigating the cause of the blaze, McKellips said.
