Mayfield Woman faces burglary charge

Staff report

A Mayfield resident faces a charge after an incident with her neighbor on Saturday, according to the Graves County Sheriff's Department.

Police received an assault complaint from Lumber Road in Mayfield. Officers took statements from witnesses and determined that Tonya Oakley, 51, of Mayfield entered a neighbor's home uninvited and then assaulted the resident, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.

Oakley was arrested and faces a charge of second degree burglary. She was taken to the Graves County Jail.
