Concord building burns

Allie Douglass

ALLIE DOUGLASS | The Sun

Concord Fire Department tamed a fire that began in a small apartment building off a home at 100 Orchard View Drive with the assistance of Paducah firefighters Tuesday. While no injuries occurred, personal ammunition in the building went off during the extinguishing of the fire. Concord Fire Chief Bob McGowan said he was unsure what started the fire, but no foul play was suspected. The building is thought to be a complete loss, while a camper parked close by was smoke damaged.
