Wreck injures Paducah man

Staff report

A Paducah man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Sunday after an animal entered the road, police said.

Sheriff's deputies were alerted to the wreck at 10:05 a.m. on Ogden Landing Road, reported Deputy Kevin Carter in a news release. Police believe Donnie Earl Worley, 33, was driving a 2000 Nissan Maxima east on Ogden Landing Road when he lost control of his vehicle due to an animal in the road, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Worley was taken to Baptist Health Paducah, where he was treated and released, according to hospital officials.
