Police search for bank robber

Paducah police request help identifying a woman who robbed FNB Bank on Thursday.

Police were notified of the robbery at 1:45 p.m. at the bank, 630 Jefferson St., after a woman entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, according to a news release. The woman claimed to have a gun and ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described her as white, in her late 40s or early 50s, with a medium to heavy build. She wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black gloves. Anyone with information can call Paducah police at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.
