Livingston police seek stolen jewelry

Staff report

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department asks for the public's assistance with regards to a reported burglary earlier in December.

Police believe the home of Diane Calhoun, of 985 Chestnut Lake Road in Ledbetter, was burglarized when numerous items of jewelry and a large quantity of quarters was taken on Dec. 19, reported the sheriff's office in a news release Monday.

A white SUV was observed at the residence the day of the theft, but police weren't sure if the vehicle is connected.

Anyone with information can call the sheriff's department at 270-928-2122 or Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL.
