Birdwatching at Cache River Wetlands Center on Jan. 18

Staff report

The care and feeding of birds will be offered at the Cache River Wetlands Center at 1 p.m. Jan. 18.

Bird watching and the construction of a variety of bird nests and manmade nesting boxes will also be examined. Participants will have the opportunity to make a simple bird feeder and a nesting box to place in their yard.

The Cache River Wetlands Center is located at 8885 St. Rt. 37 S., three miles south of Cypress, Ill.

Those interested can call 1-618-657-2064 to register. The event is free and open to the public but there will be a limit of 20 participants.
