Billboard seeks info in fatal shooting

Associated Press

SMYRNA, Tenn. - A Middle Tennessee woman has taken out a billboard ad in an effort to get more information about her husband's death last month.

The electronic billboard along Interstate 24 in Davidson County offers a $15,000 reward for information in the fatal shooting of 47-year-old Jackie Warpoole. He was found dead in Smyrna on Dec. 15 by a passing motorist.

Angela Warpoole said Lamar Advertising donated the first 30 days that she uses the billboard. Warpoole says the lack of clues in her husband's death has been frustrating, but she's hoping the billboard along with the reward changes that.
