CRESCENT SPRINGS -- Kiersten Anne Furnish and John Hartman Proctor were united in marriage on June 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crescent Springs with Hudson Henry, deacon, officiating. Serving as Scripture readers were Mrs. Sarah Moore of Indian River Shores, Florida, and Ms. Kathleen McManus of Huntington Beach, California. Prayers were led by Connor Furnish of Crescent Springs, brother of the bride. Music was provided by Jay Winstel, vocalist; Ms. Sarah Dirr, pianist; and Lyrica, a cello, flute and harp trio.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Furnish of Crescent Springs.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Proctor of Paducah.

The bride chose Mrs. Courtney Chapman of Ludlow as matron of honor and Ms. Molly Stoddart of Lexington as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Alyssa Furnish of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Emily Lanham of Denver, Colorado, Ms. Ellie Stoddart of Lexington and Ms. Jamie Bramlage of Villa Hills.

Serving as flower girls and ringbearer were Miss Lydia Proctor, Miss Caroline Proctor and Charlie Proctor, daughters and son of Drs. Ben and Sarah Proctor of Elizabethtown.

The groom chose his brother, Dr. Ben Proctor, as his best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Lock of Thornton, Colorado; Drew Dement of Lexington; Kyle Furnish of Cincinnati, Ohio, brother of the bride; Dr. Craig Furnish of Denver, Colorado, brother of the bride; Connor Furnish and Carson Furnish of Crescent Springs, brothers of the bride.

A reception followed at The Hilton Cincinnati, Netherland Plaza.

The bride is a 2013 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Parks Hills; a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor of science in nursing; and is pursuing a doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of Louisville.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a 2013 graduate of Transylvania University. He earned a medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2017 and is a resident in family medicine at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

The couple resides in Crescent Springs.
