Mizell-Gillette

Staff report

Jack and Tammy Mizell of Metropolis, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristi Mizell, to Jerry Gillette, son of Jerry and Sandra Gillette of Brookport, Ill.

Miss Mizell is the granddaughter of Jack and Imogene Mizell of Metropolis, Ill., and Cheryl Street of Grantsburg, Ill. She is a 2006 graduate of Massac County High School and earned a bachelor's degree in photography from the Art Institute in Nashville, Tenn. She is the owner of K Mizell Photography.

Mr. Gillette is a 2004 graduate of Massac County High School. He is a manager at Rue 21 in Paducah.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Metropolis. All friends and relatives are invited.
