Charlotte and Joe Chumbler

GRAND RIVERS - Mr. and Mrs. Joe Chumbler of Grand Rivers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti's restaurant.

Mr. Chumbler and the former Charlotte May Ferguson were married Feb. 1, 1964, by the Rev. Dean Woodard at New Liberty Methodist Church. Their attendants were Kenneth Wray and Harrietta Turner Harper.

Mrs. Chumbler worked for the McCracken County Board of Education at Concord Elementary School. She is the daughter of the late Clifton and Velma Ferguson.

Mr. Chumbler retired from the McCracken County Board of Education as principal of Heath Middle School. He is the son of the late Fred and Mirtie Chumbler.

They have one daughter, Leah Chumbler of Grand Rivers; and one grandson.

Both Charlotte and Mr Joe Chumbler were teachers of my Debbie Jones, Robert Jones, and Lisa Sutton . Congratulations to you and wish many more.Thanks for all you help those years Love you both
