DESCRIPTION: Eleven Marshall County Middle School seventh-grade students have received recognition for academic achievement through the Duke University Talent Search program. Talent Search students take the ACT or the SAT exams, usually administered to high school juniors and seniors, and are placed in the program based on their scores on at least one of the four subtests. Five of the eleven students attend Benton Middle School; William Booth, James Griffith, Patrick Harvey, Miranda Lewis, and Allison Smith. All eleven students will receive their state awards at an awards ceremony May 30 at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
